From that Pictures i more like it then i dont. Look to get a few better Pictures and at the End a Handinspection is the best way to go.

For me eagle stitching is a horrible attempt at immitating zigzag machine stitching - which would be highly unusual for a service tunic in the first place.

That eagle has certainly been reapplied. While eagles on these tunics are hand applied, they are done by tailors and you don't see all that thread. Someone tried to replicate a zig-zag machine stitch when it wasn't necessary.

Not sure what to think about the collar tab application yet, but I do have concerns.

The shoulder boards could be upgraded due to promotion, but again oddly done. Could also have been reworked to match the rank on the collar tabs. Which obviously, would raise concerns on the tabs.

            So, lots of questions...

As others have said the eagle has been hand applied by someone trying to imitate zig-zig stitching. Also the tabs look a little hokey to me and as others have mentioned the boards look oddly “upgraded”. I feel it’s a put together tunic, and I personally would pass. Although it’s up to you and what your collecting focus is. If you don’t mind a display pc and it’s cheap enough then it’s ok.

Just my opinion, by the way I am not an expert!

I still like it. If it comes for a good Price, why not. Not the first time i have seen a Eagle put on like this, and not really only Tailor have done this. I have a similar Tunic like this one, where he was promoted and all the Insignias where put on by his Wife at home after he was promoted, and he told me that when i got the Tunic from him. And the Eagle has exactly the same crap zig zag stitching as this one. All is possible, at the End.....all comes down to the Price. Buy it for the sum of Parts and you are good to go.

The photos posted on this forum get smaller and smaller every year and yet some members can still claim to know when insignia has been sewn on.

IMO I would expect the breast eagle and collar tabs to be in the same worn condition as the tunic itself. Both seem to be in way better condition. I would say reapplied insignia in this case.
