Gravity knife lanyard

This one has one hook missing, and you can clearly see where the cord has been broken.

Hi Willi, think it's not broken, I've noticed more than ones that late war lanyards only have one clip, the other end was just tied to the leather loop or D-ring inside the pocket of the flight pants.

These are the only ones I still have in my collection. It looks like I have sold off all the aircrew trouser ones.

These are offered on Ebay, sold as fake though..
Notice the heavy nickle swivel hook, which is quite big IMO.
Notice the weaving of the rope, not as tight as original.

Signal mirror wasn't a personal item, there was only one mirror in the survival kit of the large life boat.., so I don't believe that the 3rd lanyard was supposed to be for the mirror.

Fallschirmjäger Gravity Kniffe Lanyard Length

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a reproduction Gravity Knife Lanyard for my original Gravity Knife but the chap who makes them on eBay sells them in two different sizes: a standard size and a longer size, the latter of which measures 130cm in length.

Would someone be able to measure their original Gravity Knife Lanyard and tell me how long it is? I don't want to buy a lanyard that's too long.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the information. I will purchase the longer Gravity Knife Lanyard in that case. I'm not exactly sure where the Gravity Knife Lanyard attaches to... would you be able to tell me where I need to clip it onto?
