Shot Glass ~ Kü Fl Gr. 706

A rather neat silver shot glass that just arrived with some other stuff engraved “Kü Fl Gr. 706” as well as what appears to be “L.Fl Horst Kamp”. My denny-the-dunce interpretation “L.Fl” (flight Leutnant?). Google tells me this guy was attached to a ‘coast reconnaissance and naval support group’.

I couldn’t find a reference in my web surfing for Horst Kamp or for this particular Küstenfliegergruppe. Can anyone share anything on them or this gentleman? Also wondering what type of aircraft this gruppe might have flown.

Thanx in advance for any info, comments or observations.

The film "Idiocracy" was originally released as a comedy. Now it has been re-released as a documentary.

            Some research indeed. Thanks Ed.

So, if I may, what might "Aircraft Code 61+" mean? A type of airframe or a number of aircraft?

Also is there any reference to the guy - Horst Kamp whom I assume was a full lieutenant? (It would be cool to put a face to the name were there anywhere to find such a face.)

KAMP was unit station not Owners Name . FLIEGER HORST KAMP= Flight Base in the town of Kamp

Unit Code 61+ was the marking on the side of aircraft.
