    FLAK coverall on e-stand

    Guys,

    I like to bring this item for discussion;

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=938068

    Currently for sale on the e-stand, a FLAK coverall with (original) triangle eagle.

    For a start, I (really) don't like the triangle eagle. And the coverall itself is also a model I never seen before. Looks to modern to me.

      Flak coverall.

      Hello, some pictures show a variety of paterns. Some coveralls looks civilians ( with sewned belt) or originaly issued for other organizations (Luftschutz for exemple). But here, the cloth used on this, looks more like a sort of denim ? It is possible to have pictures onf then lining, if this coverall has one ? And pictures of the buttons. But i also have a bad feeling about this item.

            I agree and, yes, it might be something else more unpretentious than a Flak coverall. Can you please also search for maker/size/depot stamps as well?

                I believe that these may be East German in origin.

                Note, from the last set of images supplied, the provision for attaching shoulder boards. It is identical to the method used on East German uniforms, ie. two small holes for the button to be secured through (with a lace-like tie) and a narrow strip of fabric to secure the base of the shoulder strap (which, being East German, was narrower than those used during the 3R period).
