Unmarked; obverse looks good, but I'm not sure about the pitting on the reverse.

IMO this is a nice original 1st pattern (droop tail) nickel plated brass summer eagle and they paid more attention to the front finish than the back because mine is also kind of ruff/coarse on the back. Detail and hardware on this unmarked piece looks the same as on a S&L marked specimen I have
