First I thought reserve artillery, but then the grey should be at the bottom - so what are these?

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. This was also my initial thought, and why they caught my interest. But then I had a second look in the Uniforms & Traditions books, and there it is described that the grey underlay should be the bottom one - like Heer Reserve. Is this incorrect? Since LW Reserve boards have the main branch color at the bottom, it would make sense for supplementary to do the same, but who knows -not much written about this, that I could find.Attached Files

With the luftwaffe three layered officer boards, the branch color is on the bottom. I think that the Angola book is in error. That is a Heer reserve board pictured and described.
Example- Admin Services has the dark green branch color(Waffenfarbe). The center color, or nebenfarbe, denotes specialty.
For the supplemental(replacement) officers, the branch color(waffenfarbe) is on the bottom. The designation is the center layer- supplemental officer is light grey.
See page 113 of "Uniforms and Insignia of the Luftwaffe, Vol 1: 1933-1940"
It only makes sense because the reserve officers were done in the same way for their boards(blue inner layer).
The Heer did not have a color system that these boards would fit under.

I might've found another pair of supplementary boards actually - for a flight Hauptmann. The grey is more bluish, but they are not faded reserve for sure. Interestingly they are close to the color on the "mystery tabs" I found a while ago.Attached Files
