    Breast eagle on fliegerbluse check

Hi, grateful for any opinions on this breast eagle. It's on a mid-war type rayon-lined fliegerbluse and I can't see any evidence of a previous eagle.

    Regards, Paul

Looks nicely done, especially if you can't see any signs of a previous eagle

Thanks Gene! I don't think it's a common eagle type (from looking through the Breast Eagle pinned thread), but it looks period applied to me too. There seem to be so many types it's a 'science' I struggle with!

          Thanks HAF!

It's from this fliegerbluse that I bought recently:-

I agree. Correct and originally applied.

You must have one heck of a Luft Fliegerbluse collection now Paul.

Thanks John - appreciate your review.

Adam/ Martin - well, up to 7 fliegerbluses now (also 'strayed' onto a 4 pocket Waffenrock too), including the 3 HG's. I have a while before I can catch you two up, and I blame you both equally for getting me started on the Luftwaffe! Looking at your collections was definitely one of the 'triggers' for me.

At some point will put it together in a thread on the Collections Forum.

                  Cheers, Paul
