    Luft breast eagle and Leutnant flight suit insignia

    I haven't bought any Luftwaffe insignia in a long time, and it's very rare to find any WW2 German items in local antique shops, but these two were found together along with the remnants of a WW2 veteran's scrapbook that had been ripped apart and was being sold page by page. I had to carefully remove them from the cardboard they were stapled to and the eagle has a little glue residue on the back. The price for both pieces was less than what I spent on lunch for the family that day. All opinions welcome!

      Yes, both are just fine. Are they from a German vet's album or a GI's?

        Thanks for that! American GI from Indiana, looks like he served in North Africa and Europe judging by what was left. Sadly, his history was scattered and lost when that scrapbook was torn up.
