        ..

Ok I'm still not entirely understanding your question within a Ju88 crew, for instance, there was the following:

        Pilot - Flugzeugführer abzeichen
        Observer - Beobachter abzeichen
        Wireless operator - Bordfunker abzeichen
        Air gunner - Fliegerschützen abzeichen

Me110 had pilot and wireless operator/air gunner.

        And what is a Roag?

What im trying to figure out primarily is what planes had an observer inside and what could he have done to be awarded the dkig?

                ..

                Gotcha.

Well most aircraft with three or more crew would have an observer (Beobachter).

In terms of award criteria for the DKiG it varied depending on number of front flights, sinking of a significant vessel, ground attack etc..

At times an entire crew could be awarded an award based on a particular action.

                Hope that helps.

                Jeremy

                      Nice Tom!

The gold bomber clasp will look great on that.

                        THAT is a STUNNING uniform!

Appears to have loops for a clasp, ribbon bar and EK1.

Can you provide some close up pix of the beautiful Observer badge?

                            Beauty.

The Luft ribbon bar I'm sending you should fit well also based on the length of the loops.
