I purchased this banner out of the woodwork some time ago . I had it for sale here on the WAF and at the same time in a booth i rented here in upstate NY . I sold it to a fellow member here on the forum but unknown to me another dealer at the antique center purchased it so i had to tell the member here it was already sold and gone . This was my blunder and will not make the same mistake again as a result of me selling the same item in two places . The fellow who purchased it was a famous civil war artist and dies not too long after he purchased the banner . Subsequently i purchased the banner back from his estate a second time . So here it is again after having it on consignment for a while i took it back to sell at a reasonable cost . No fees to the buyer . This is a good deal and there is plenty of meat on the bone for a dealer to flip it .

My Yes did not mean that i contacted you . I did not bother to do so because i figured our last deal i had to renege on and i did not think you would be interested in doing business again . And i did see that you found another sometime after that . In hind sight after reading the suggestion of the moderator it would have been the proper thing to do .Comment
