    hole on tunic. why no loops ?

    hello

    generally, we can see loops to wear medals.

    but on 2-3 tunics, I see holes.

    do you have tunics with this "system" ?

    Ive seen a few jackets that use this style including one for a dkig so it did happen a few times i suppose this is a more secure way

      Jacket.

      Some 1914 1918 and 39 45 EK 1 have screw system. Maybe WW1 pilot badge etc ?

        Yes, it's a more secure way and it looks tailor done ..
        Also better this way when dancing cheek to cheek with the babe, pilot badge wings could grab her dress, babe starts pulling and loops are ruined ..

              As a kid I used to punch carelessly German WW2 tunics in order to fix breast awards , but now and then I have noticed also accurately finished holes on untouched specimens. Such a system was especially necessary for awards with a screw-back fastening device.
