    LW wheel

    Found this in a thrift shop today. It has no dataplate, but its in great shape. What would the value of something like this be? Its in lovely condition considering its age.

    Been told its the tail wheel for one of these planes:


    Fiesler storch 156
    Arado 76
    focke angelis 223

    Or...

    Do17
    Fw200
    He111
    JU52
    Me 210

          If it´s prewar then it should not have "Made in Germany" or?

            I thought so too but apparently it was normal to mark wheels in several languages. French (Allemagne), english and german. I have looked at several different types of tail wheels online and found that almost all are marked "Made in Germany". Even abwurtbehalter wheels have english text. Borrowed two examples:

              I`ll add one more example. Different wheel hub but very similar tyre. Also marked in three languages.
