Found this photo in an álbum. Is it a known picture or is it unpublished?
I recognize at left to Gustav Rödel but who's the officer at right?

I agree, Ernst Düllberg. He's got a rather distinctive hairline.

The photo was published in the book "Story of the Star of Africa" by Franz Kurowski I believe.

There have been several images taken at the time of your photo which have been published, which show Marseille, Rödel and Düllberg and/or a combination of all 3 together, 2 together and singularly.

For myself, no doubt whatsoever it is indeed Ernst Düllberg.
