Hi Patrick, no I don't know where the thread is. Other than I recall it in the Equipment section. I first saw these for $20 with the strap in the mid-90s. We used them for reenacting.

Thanks - what I expected: normally there are 3 holes, but at the end of strap is an impressed dated (1956) marking, that could not simply been cut off, as it is to close to the last hole, therefore the sellers have to cut of the last hole...
