    Unusual droop tail eagle

    Hi Guys

This one just arrived and appears 100% ok but don't recall seeing one quite like this before- the nearest I can recall is the flatwire NCO/Officer type of a very similar design. Anyone seen this variant before or have an image of one they can post?

    many thanks in advance

Here's that flatwire your referring to. I really like this eagle. But not the expert on tunic eagles.

Thanks for the comments and images Guys- it really is a strange example, it is also a good deal larger than a standard breast eagle- must have really stood out on a tunic!

You should post it next to another eagle so we can see it for a size comparison.

I saw one of those on a blue tropical tunic many years ago. It looked awesome on the jacket. Sadly the owner wasn't interested in selling.
