Eagle is ok IMO but I advice you to not put it on the jacket if it never got one. If there is no trace of an eagle, do not put one on. A lot of period pics show those jackets in use without any eagle.

I would like to see photos of where the eagle would be, front and back.

Also close-up of that eagle, as I am not fond of it based on those photos. The shoulder straps with the eagle are bad IMO.
