I've a 4th model with 2nd model hinges, I've noticed that one of Rudel's late war N & G shows the very same hinges ..
He wore at least 3 different models
So, concerning parts there were combinations also.
Yes, the last model looks less heavy and I wonder if it was also produced by N & G ..
Different mold, different strap, different concept, no maker mark and they also came in artificial leather pouches with press button.
