opinions on feldwebel signals 4 pocket

    Hello
i have afeldwebel signals jacket. Above the right pocket where the lw eagle should be is empty space so at first i assumed its been removed postwar as so many did, but on closer inspection i cant see any telltail marks that would indicate any thread has been there. The jacket is 4 pocket without any markers labels or markings but it feels like it may be private purchase. Ill add photos later today just wondered if anyones come across this before
    kind regards
    tom

Looks to me that it had an eagle and it was removed. I see very small indications of a sewn on eagle at one time.
Everything looks normal about this tunic to me. It does show a promotion in rank as well.
      Nice Tunic

Very nice tunic. I can see a few small areas where it looks as if an eagle was once attached. Very nicely removed though. I bet it was a nice privately acquired officer's eagle.

Thanks guys really appreciate the help as a side thought was it possible for a signals nco be engaged as radio operator on an aircraft? Or is it only flight piped jackets and the signals jackets stay firmly on the ground

Only Fliegendes personal go 'into the blue'. Therefore, the yellow waffenfarbe 'goes up' and the copper brown stays on the ground.

              I neglected to add:-

Nice tuchrock. Get yourself a suitable 'eagle' and you've got a good display item.

The loops look perfect for a nice SA Sports Badge.
