This is probably the lightest tropical LW tunic I have had so I wanted to double check. And of course it is always the eagle to double-check.

I suppose they were simply postwar attached. Of course he could have also been promoted. There is also a shadow of a cuffband by the way!

Did not even consider the boards, only the tunic, and certainly doubt the boards are original to the tunic.

The "stays" for the shoulderboards are also set up for EM/NCO straps, given their width.

A nice "been there" example. Either a HG or Luftwaffe Africa cuffband was likely to have been on the sleeve. As well as the chevron. The boards can be easily removed.

The one I purchased recently was also a very 'light' tunic, so no problems with that.
