Interesting Kreta cufftitle

I just picked this up in a lot. Looked like a normal cuff at first. But once I turned it over I noticed it has snaps attached to the reverse. I've seen other insignia with snaps attached but never a cuff. From the looks of it being hand repaired in several areas and having a heavily worn look I doubt this was attached to a dress tunic. Honestly if there was ever a "combat-worn" cufftitle for me this would have to be it.

Interesting example Dave. Shortened and with repairs. First time I have seen snaps on a cufftitle but I would tend to agree with HAF.

I've seen this done before on a grossdeutschland fuhrerbegleit black panzer wrapper (that's a mouthful) in Bill Shea's collection many years ago. The snaps were on the FB cuff title
