    Luftwaffe Overseas Cap

    I picked this up from an estate sale in Staunton Va about two months ago. It came with a matching K-98 bayonet. I have showed it to a couple of collector friends and one dealer. The dealer tried to buy it but insisted that it was a fake (red flag). It seemed to be odd that it would be at an estate of an Air Corp vet if it were fake.

    Any input? I really have no interest in it and I do not want to pass it off if there is something fishy about it.

    I do know the large size is tough to find.
