How did they loose the war?

    Impressive or what?

Quite impressive. Great photo. I believe they concentrated too much on quality when quantity was needed. By the time that were able to produce quantity (in some cases) the tide and numerical superiority of the Allies production had doomed the Reich. Funny how that very quality now attracts us collectors. I just shake my head at the machining of a Luger pistol and the high tech marvels of the ME-262 and Panther tanks.

I couldn't agree more and I would suggest that's why we all are still fascinated in German weapons?!.

All money was gone and almost all soldiers were dead .., the only ones who wore a helmet at the end were grannies and babies ..
Some pretty nice quality items were invented those days though .., financed by the German people which saved some pretty nice penny for a illusive VW beetle car etc.., unfortunately all went into war industry .., ah well, money gone, but a great war instead ..
Most systems still work like this .., so the concept wasn't that bad.
Certain people can do great things with other people's money..

We cracked their enigma code device early on with the help of a polish expert and knew their every move...then we just overwhelmed them with troops, tanks , ships, planes, and also had gas ...hitler made his biggest blunder declaring war and being hostile after the Pearl Harbor incident, and if he had just not done that, and bided time to develop his bomb, say twenty years after dec 7 41..he may have fulfilled the prophecy ......he just underestimated America. That's it in a nut shell IMO.

Hmmm perhaps he underestimated more than the USA, the rest of the allies also had something to do with it, including a huge sacrifice by Russia who turned the tide in the east...sacrificing millions upon millions of soldiers and civilians...

In order to discuss how they lost the war, you have to first be able to understand the war and why it played out the way it did. Sadly, that conversation can not take place on a forum where most claim to be interested in the war. Food for thought..........

They lost the war for many reasons, but the two biggest factors were strategy and resources.

Compare just a few of the following numbers for them and their enemies:

                            Population
                            War economies
                            Tank production
                            Airplane production
                            Oil /fuel production

This should have added up, but not for the Germans. (100 mediocre tanks will always beat one brilliant tank)
