Messerschmitt windshield?

Can anybody please help me verify this windshield?
My grandfather bought this at an auction right after ww2 . He told me that this is from a German warbird. Most likely some kind of messerschmitt.
I am curious about the value, and if anybody could be interested.
International shipping is possible, but it will cost. Since it weighs a lot (bulletproof glass)
