    Seat belt part

    Friends!
I and my two brothers went to "Tiger Day" at Bovington Tank Museum 2nd May, a splendid experience
At the site I bought a lap belt part fom Mark Bentley, Tiger Collectibles. Mark told me following:

“Regards harness, it came from a local crash landing at Westland Farm, Ballard Down, Studland, on the 25th Sept 1940.
    Aircraft: Heinkel He-111, (white B) of KG55
    Werk No :- 6305
    Code :- G1 + BH
    Crew :-
    Pilot, Fritz Jurges
    Radio/op, Rudolph Weibach
    Navigator, Karl Kothke
    Gunner, Otto Muller
Flight/eng, Josef Altricher (died of wounds later that day)
The bomber had attacked Filton and was one the return flight, when RAF fighters attacked and with engines damaged, the pilot decided to crash land on the coast, the crew evacuated the aircraft but were unable to destroy it and it was later taken away for research, but not before many local children helped themselves to items of equipment, even though guards were posted.”

    Please enjoy

      Nice!

It would be great if it were definitely from this He 111 but I don't think there's anyway to be totally sure though.

Interesting white bull insignia on that aircraft...

            Thanks BenVK & mjfur!
Yes, no way it can be proven. BUT it was sold for a reasonable price, without the story and in Dorset... The same model (and size?) seems to have been used in several types (FW-190, JU-87, BF-109)...
I attach two more photos. In one of these, the crew leaving the aircraft, can be seen.
            Regards,
