Seeing that the wings are hand cut, not die cut, and the signal blitz is handmade; and the are being sold by this individual: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=798045

I find it hard to accept these as original. On their own they might stand a chance but being sold with the current and former insignia produced by this guy, my vote is a resounding FAKE!!

I admit that I was focusing on the embroidery and material, not so much the way it is cut. I have seen trade badges that were removed from uniforms and etc, which were cut to smooth out the rough edges. I see your point though. I dont like the Condor Legion items... the material is odd to me.

Hello Paul,

I believe that rikster has an embroidery machine or is in close contact with and individual with one. His game has stepped up in the last year from Heer signal blitzes and chevrons to HJ, Civil, Luft insignia and now cuff titles!!!

Again, hand embroidered cuff titles were made and used during the third reich period, but when they come from this individual and have the same backing material and materials as other obvious fakes it is time to take a long hard look at every thing.

I have been keeping pictures and notes from the past two years. The time is past for accepting this crap.

Holy sh!t. I am glad that I have had my trade badges for almost 10 years. Those are beyond scary. I am not happy with this news. Other than the cut, are there any differences you noticed in the insignia and embroidery techniques? They seem nearly perfect to me.
