I got these years apart. One in France 15 years ago, the other one on the right recently. I think they were made by the same manufacturer. They are the exact same size, lining material, and wool is the same. This Italian captured wool wears very coarsely and fades a lot. But I thought they were interesting to show together. They both were stripped and I did a little restoration work. Not sure exactly who used them. As the newer one has a remains of a trapezoid insignia on the lining. But I am not sure if it is the original or if someone tried adding insignia at some point. As there is no history to these it is all conjecture at this point.
All luft m44's I have seen just had the bird sewn through the lining, not a Trap.
I always like the m44 tunics so I thought I would post. There was an unissued luft signal blitz that came with the tunic on the right, but I just put that in the pocket, and I had very coarse m44 medical boards that matched the tunic so I put those on for an impression for now.
