I have the opportunity to buy my first tunic. His asking price is 350 euro which makes it a bit suspicious??

What do you guys think?

You were right to be suspicious! Some of the problems: Scalloped pockets, Lapel shape, Lining, material.

Compare the details I mentioned above to known originals that are shown in this section. You will start to learn about what I mean.

Early Bundeswehr tunic 'modified' to faux Luftwaffe tunic.

Normally they use Bundesluftwaffe tunics for this exercise.

The lining is always a clue (in addition to the colour; cut and collar shape).
