LW HG Infantry HBT Tunic from SoS

This is my latest purchase from the 2015 Show of Shows. It is a moderately worn/faded Luftwaffe HBT tunic with HG infantry collar tabs.

The tunic is cut in the Army style without the pocket pleats, but has the cropped corners and is in the green HBT material. The interior (no photos yet) is partially lined with the LW color and style of rayon, blue grey material. The Maker's and size stamps are well faded and nearly impossible to make out. The eagle is factory sewn in the zig-zag style and the collar tabs appear to be machine sewn. Both appear to be original to the uniform with no evidence of older sewing holes around the tabs or eagle.

The NCO tress on the collar is Army style tress and that on the shoulder boards in in the LW style. I am overall very happy with the look of the jacket. It is essentially un-messed with, in worn/faded condition, with no extra embellishment. I welcome your comments and critiques so that I might learn more about this field of collecting.

Any sign of a cufftitle having been attached to it?

Absolutely no signs of needle holes or changes in fading on the sleeves.

Very interesting. From what I can see, I like it. For me, the absence of the CT is not a problem.
