    Real LW beer stein?

Found this online and was curious what you all think. I have an original beer stein from the 1940s and when looking at this it looks too good. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    1960's-70's. Fantasy piece.

The film "Idiocracy" was originally released as a comedy. Now it has been re-released as a documentary.

I agree. Quality and all the silly markings, etc. I am surprised they didn't add HG's autograph......

These were manufactured in the 70s and, I believe, were made in WI. One would see these for sale by Roger Steele, Unique Imports in Alexandria, VA or through Shotgun News. Initially the steins were named to common Luftwaffe personnel but as time went on more and more "exotic" steins were seen named to the famous aces. In the 80s the steins had broadened out to U-Boat aces and tank aces.

I sold 1/2 dozen of these in the Bazaar section a few years ago. Personally I think they were rather nice looking.
