    Lufwaffe Pilot ring

Now here I really would appreciate some help. This ring came straight from the pilot´s family along with other nice items. It has a nice patina and is good "on Hand". However I have not found much informations on the net - two similar ones were here: http://www.germaniainternational.com/luft2.html

    Thanks in advance!

So I guess the 24K stands for the Quality of the Gold plating.

I thinnk this example has a chance , besides , if you have true provenance what worries could you have?
I suspect you could custom purchase these rings , or at least have a choice in available insignias to suit ones requirements. ......depending on who made the emblems. Seems they are all similar. (especially the ring blank)
In regards to the 24 and the K , that may not mean what you think....might stand for somrthing else, someone else personalized., so since you know who owned it before, you might check and see if it connects in any way.

            Thanks juoneen,

it's pretty hard to find any informations on such rings like who made them etc. so I appreciate your help and opinion! The former owner was a recon pilot, got some other items from him too.

            Cheers, Jack

                  ring on finger

In the picture below., I notice that the enamel seems to be in the shape of the pilots badge? if I am not mistaken?, not a straight line, as in the repo's, but again, it would depend on how many makers of this at the time?, good to see this picture also with 2 rings being worn. On his prime pocket badge is air gunner, yet it looks like a pilot ring on the right hand?
