Luftwaffe/Flak overcoat

Hi all,

I have a luftwaffe overcoat for several years, i don't have any idea about the type coat it is. The insignia seems to be later added. Most of the coats i've seen have 2 rows of buttons, this one just 1.

Can you guys tell me more about it? Thanks!

Luftwaffe (and DLV) overcoats were double breasted. The fact that yours is single breasted suggests something like HJ Flakhelfer though their overcoats had upper pockets. Perhaps the upper pockets have been removed.

It definitely appears as if pockets were removed from this overcoat. I can see outlines still.

Curiously the tabs are sewn in the wrong directions!

And they are the wrong type of tabs also

As mentioned these tabs are added later for sure. It is not a really small coat, rather big! I am thinking about selling this one, what would be a fair price? Thanks!
