I bought both of these packs for my collection off eBay. An FL30231 and FL30210 chutes without the harness. I took a chance since the price was right. I think they look good, what does the forum think?

Here is the inside and mounted on my mannequin using a 1950's USAF aircrew chest harness I had. Researching the web, a complete parachute with harness sells for $2,500 to $6,000. A little too rich for my blood. So I plan to make a harness for the sitzfallschirm to keep my total investment under $500 and under $300 for the Observer parachute.

My long term display plan
The sitzfallschirm when completed will be placed on this mannequin. My long term goal is to rebuild my Me-109 cockpit. Once that is completed, I will place the mannequin inside the cockpit with complete equipment for my display. I started this project 5 years ago, and hopefully I will complete it in another year.Comment
