Something not seen everyday

I have been gradually pulling uniforms out and making new photos on a nice manikin my wife bought for me. This one is for an Administrative NCO. He could have had one of the following specialties:

Rose Pink- Photo Service, Motor Transport Service, Ordnance Service, Weapons and Ammunition Service, Technical Aircraft Service, Cartographic Service
Lithographic Service

What angles do you want to see?

Also, I do not have a visor cap. What cover is best with this? I have seen photos of folks wearing the M43 with this tunic set up... Is the overseas cap a better choice?

I think the M43 looks out of place especially since the materials don't match. Hatless would be cool, with fabric covering the top of the neck. Maybe take pics of it outside in natural sunlight.

Thanks guys. I finally had an opportunity to make some better images in the back yard. Gene, you are right. Sunlight makes all of the difference. Ironically, the wool the M43 and that used to make the tunic are of the same grade.

Thanks Gene. I think that it is well worthwhile to wait to go outside for all future photos.

Speaking of hats, I will kill for a LW Beamte cap, but I am scared to get one since I move around so much. I am afraid that it would get crushed. Visor caps are so fragile. It only takes once for the movers to screw up. I have two other NCO beamte types(Sonderfuhrers) who would be able to post with it as well.

Would an overseas cap work better until I retire and buy a place?

The best conditions are slight overcast. Bright but not enough to cause shadows.

Nice outfit. That looks much better than when you first displayed it it on the much too-short mannequin.

Try padding the M43 with a couple of plastic shopping bags and sitting it on the mannequin's neck.

I really think that the Administrative NCOs have the best looking insignia on Luftwaffe blue.
