Pith helmet: Lufty or not lufty

When i saw this pith helmet it reminded me a radiohead's song "everything in its right place"...but i am not so sure....
Little hint. The eagle is ok.

The problem is if this pith helmet is a luftwaffe one or not.
I mean, i would like to know if it is a rock solid rule that luftwaffe ones have tan leather (chinstrap and moulding) and heer have brown/dark green leather.
If this rule has no exceptions, this helmet could be a rebadged heer.
      Any opinion?

It looks to be an M1940 Luft. I think the trim and chin strap are supposed to be brown instead of green, as a rule. I think the chin strap is Heer.
        Heer/ Green.
        Luft/ Tan or brown.

        Cheers,

        Jamie

I found out some other lufty pith helmets, all made by JHS with same dark brown chinstrap and trim in dark green.

          Here are some shots:

Liner of the up above pith helmet

          Another JHS sun lid

          And again...

Considering that is not easy to replace a chinstrap that is firmly crimped on the cork, i wonder if these are, late war, JHS variants of the tan (leather) Luftwaffe pith helmets.

          Any opinion is welcome!
