Luftwaffe Blue Tropical boards opinions

Hi guys, I have had these shoulder boards for some time. I would greatly appreciate your opinions. I believe they are a good matching original pair. Also are they considered more rare than khaki colored boards.

They don't make sense.

The blue fabric (which is wrong IMO) has faded but the red piping is mint!

John, those are mint late Luft shirt boards. For shirts in the same color, and they have nothing to do with tropical issue.

Thanks Ben and Willi for taking the time to comment. I had no idea they were late war boards. Always thought the were tropical. Now I just need to find a late war blue shirt Again thanks for your help.
