    Interesting pic of pilot in U-boot gear - Enjoy

    Hi Guys,

    came across this pic of a pilot in U-boot gear. Something I have not seen before. It comes from Luftflotte West, issue no 8 1942. If you have any pics of pilots in U-boot gear I would like to see these. Enjoy the weekend.

          Because the jacket has a straight seam on the chest and also no pocket flap on the chest.., his trousers have a extra pocket at the side of his left thigh ( not seen in the pic )
          It's a U-boot lookalike IMO, but I think that it was a private purchase.
          The black U-boot jackets have the small stand-up collar, the longer grey or grey-brownish jackets have the normal collar and a seam on the chest, but not a straight seam IMO.
          Also his pocket flaps ( in this pic folded inwards ) have a different shape than the textbook U-boot jacket.

          .. or it must be a special U-boot ensemble .. ?
          ... but I've doubts about that ..
          Just another motorcycle or open car variation I guess.
