    Farbbeutel just in

A rare item when complete. This one has definitely been carried - the outer bag has moulded around the hanging lanyard

              Harry,
              Nice Farbbeutel's. Congratulations.

Can you please explain further what you mean by mould around the carrying lanyard ?
              Regards,
              Andy

Andy, there is a typo error in my first post - moulded should read molded....

Harry, where on earth do you find these rare and beautiful objects?

                          Nice early paint bag !

... and even more nice later one also..!

The yellow coating on the early bags quite often shrinks, cracks and flakes, .. time, temperature changes etc I guess..
The yellow coating might be a oil paint product.

Here's a early oldie I've, same problem .., the black rubber underneath the yellow coating also acts a bit like tar, it's slightly sticky, that's why I've put some talcum powder on it..
Hence the molding when things are stored upon it, same with some visors of caps.

The one I've already has text on the back .

Other makers I've seen just had a few words on the back .., only one line ..

                          Jos.
