Would an NCO pilot get away with wearing these pants?

Hi Guys,

bought these pants for an officer set up some time ago but am now more inclined to use these for a senior NCO set up. Would a NCO get away with wearing this sort of (officer) pants? Does anyone have a period pic of a NCO wearing breeches with leather pads? Thanks!

W - don't have a period photo to show you, but NCOs wore breeches too (I know you know this). There would certainly have been NCOs who wore breeches with leather reinforcements.

Yes, but they were officers not NCO's.

Possible maybe .., couldn't find any pic sofar though ..
The NCO's had their wool breeches without leather parts.
In the rank of Oberfaehnrich chances are getting bigger IMO, they wore a mix of NCO/officer stuff ..
Another thing I can imagine is a NCO who's a huge horse fan and these are his hobby trousers ..

Thanks Jos. I agree. I think a NCO would very more likely not wear these pants than that he would. I will change my set up back to officer. Cheers, W
