Snatched this one in an online auction - a BV222, one of only 13 made. Due to the white stripe probably V1, V6, V8 or C-10 as they all were in the mediterranean are.

Hope someone likes it - not as elegant as a fighter but it surely sounded impressive when all six engines were running...

Great photo!!!

Shots of the BV222 in flight are not often encountered due largely to their poor maintenance record. I have a group to a Bordmeckaniker who flew on these including the only known instance of a BV222 shooting down a four engine bomber.
