I was told this may be a WW2 German Luft waffe flight helmet? Please let me know your thoughts. Sorry for the pictures. It is marked 61 with a white makers mark..

Certainly not LW...Civilian private purchase? With those straps rivitted on like that (very un-German)
perhaps Swedish?
