    Oberst Tabs

I don't know about these, so I would like a second opinion.

The backing looks ok although I think that some don't like this type of gull?

    Thanks!

2nd pic isn't loading for me..

From the pic I'm not a fan of the yellow cloth to start with.

Sorry, these are the only pics that I have of them. Typically, I take my own if I have them in hand.

I went ahead a picked them up as I can send them back if bad. I will post pics once I get them.

These are complete reproductions that are sold as such on ebay. Notice the embroidery on the wings and badge cloth weave.

            Here is an example:

compare the wing embroidery, course weave of the badge cloth, and etc.

              Thank you Paul and Jos.

              That definitely helps.

I own this set now and based on the discussion, would like a second opinion. I have always believed it to be a good set (although somewhat damaged).

              Thanks again.

I feel that these are reproductions as well. There are reproductions made exactly like these on ebay. The damage looks really fake as well.

I agree with Paul, I don't like them either.

                    Thanks Paul and RamJet

So, the weave of the cloth and the flat line wings? I pulled this one based on the comments below. I am hoping that I am seeing it and will know what to avoid now.

What draws my attention to this second set is the weave of the badge cloth, the backing material, and the fact that the same exact method of gull embroidery is also used by folks on Ebay who sell them as reproductions.
