                FYI - In the first photo, the boot soles are mis-matched. They have different maker marks on them.

                  Yeah I noticed the mismatched soles as well, but the Makers Label on both boots, and the over all construction show they are a matched pair. It is interesting though. Thanks for the input and compliments everyone! DL.

                    I have a pair virtually identical and dated '45', but not quite so pristine. The soles also have the same mismatched logos on them. This is very typical of things that were manufactured so late in the war.
