Luftwaffe map case

Hi All,
Here to share with you all is my Luftwaffe map case.

LBA
********* SOHN
NEU-ULM
1939

It comes with the plastic map sleeve (?) that stamped on the top corners NEU-ULM and 1939. The book and pouch was also found inside and so was slip of paper “Germany April 24 1945 etc.” by a US soldier.
Can anyone translate what’s written in the book? Comments welcome.

When I picked it up, from the pics and description I thought is was an Army map case but noticed the LBA stamp on the flap when I got it!!! With only a few Luftwaffe stuff in my collection this will go nicely with my Luft. side cap, buckles and helmets...
