      Left side.

You can see where the last holes for the pilot observer badge was worn has some slight repairs. This is of interest because the pilot observer badge also has a repair ie replaced catch. I will try and get a close up of the pilot observer. It is made late war zinc. It is of course belongs to the man in question which is why both repairs on tunic and badge correspond IMO.

Oberleutnant August Högl was a member of 3.(F)/122.

I did not mention he won the Ehrenpokal also on the 21st October 1941. I do not have it but it is out there some where floating around.

                      Thanks Andy.

I thought it would be of interest to our English members as the recconnaissance photographs are of Cayton, Scarborough. Maybe someone today lives where the photographs were taken all those years ago.

                      All the best.

                        Karol,

                        Done posting yet?

A fantastic grouping! Great job, and it looks like you are getting into the research a bit. Which I think is the best part, and elevates a grouping into something much greater than an unnamed piece.

                        Superb grouping.

                        Best regards,

                        Jason

                          Hi Jason,

Ha Ha I actually have photogrpahs of the other lot that was sold on Hermann Historica ie Ehrenpokal, paper work, photoalbum, dog tag etc.

I could post them if you would like to see or anyone else would like to see them.

Thanks again for posting Jason, much appreciated. You are right about researching an item it is very interesting and extremely rewarding.

Let me know if you would like to see the Ehrenpokal etc

                          All the best.

Very nice grouping, thanks for posting. I remember when it was at HH and I regret not bidding higher - I'm sure you don't

                              Thank you Jesper.

Unfortunately the other lot belonging to the same man was sold to a different person. It would be great if it all could of stayed together but sometimes that is not the way the cookie crumbles.

Absolutely! Would love it when ever you find the time. No rush, of course.

                                Thanks for offering.
