I agree this is one beautiful fliegerbluse. I really like the looks of the boards and collartabs. Something to be proud of for sure. I am learning to like the Luftwaffe uniforms more each day.

And, oh by the way, thank you very much for your service to our country. My son just got back from Afghanistan with USMC, safe and sound, thank God. Stay safe out there!

        Hello Ray

Very nice example. I love the stitching alot. I had a fliegerbluse with this type of so called "T" stitching and it found a new home in Australia. I still have one with the normal zigzag. I still have a weakness for bluse like this

        Thanks for posting

Yes,that type machine sewing is fine...Here are a few Heer eagles sewn in the same fashion.

            Nice tunic.

Thanks to all for your kind regards.

Unexpectedly, your replies have capitalized on this method of "T" stitching that has proved to be a key point of discussion and a great educational benefit for me.

As I have mentioned, I have seen this stitching, but was not quite aware of it's uncommon extent.

                - Glenn, thanks for posting the interesting pictures for comparison.

                - B-24 Liberator, thanks to your Son's service, glad to hear he's back safe and sound. I know you are a proud parent as I served with my Son as well during one of his Iraq x2, Afghanistan tours

                - tmca05 (Dave) When you get the chance to come up this way drop me a PM. Would be glad top have you over again to review the collection once I pull it back of storage next APR. Will then be RT'd back home for good.
