    Regiment Herman Goering

    Guys,

    Just a technical question, picked up a I Oct doc today to above Regiment it is signed by Axthelm as CO but at the right side It has a stamp 'Der Kommandeur im Luftgau III, gez. Weise, Generalleutnant'.

    I have been on Lexicon Der wehrmacht but I can't find the link between RHG and Luft gua III or am I missing something obvious?

    I am not too clued up on Lufty orbat if it turns out to be a silly question, sorry...

    Brigade HG & Regiment HG were under Luftgau III, the later Division HG was under Luftgau III/IV (Berlin-Dresden)

      Thanks for the info, I guess I am no good at navigating 'Lexicon der Wehrmacht', I just could not see any link there and it is normally quite good.
