    Estand Tunic Opinions?

    Hi all,

I am currently interested in this tunic and before I make an offer I would just like to have some second opinions before going foward:

I think it is good from the photos so far.

Better snag it before it's gone.

It is a beautiful tunic for the price... Bargain price, if you ask me- even with the stain.

Very nice tunic and it seems Johnny has both feet firmly planted on the ground judging from his asking price! If this were a dealer it would probably be around $1100.00..... I would bet the stain is less visible as we all know things often look better in hand than than they did in any photos.

            Congrats to whomever bought it!

Hi, I am literally selling it for what I paid for it. I just need space.

                  Nice 100% original tunic.
The only problem is the stain, and it's more than just the average stain. Whatever is on this tunic, has rotted the fabric and weakened it a lot. My guess is that if you try to remove the stain, you will end up with big holes in this tunic. Who ever buys it should plan on just leaving it as is and accepting it for what it is.
It's 100% correct and it is priced very fair IMO. It's basically 1/2 price or less. Just look at it this way, if this was a 100% original SS tunic at 1/2 price ($2,000-3,000) with the same stain...it would be gone in 5 seconds.

Although Erich Hartmann (RK with Diamonds) is not wearing the same style tunic in this photo, it’s the same rank and from a flight school, just the same as the tunic for sale is.
Buy this tunic, fold it in half and put it in a glass shadow box style display case. Add a few cadet or HJ medals such as the sports badge and glider badge and you will have a great display, that is 100% correct and original for a flying cadet. Don't make him a hero yet, he's just a cadet at this point. The stain will never show.
