Please help on this Stuka Staffelabzeichen - an anchor with an eagle on the background.

    Thank you very much!

      Fantastic Harry,

      thank you!

      Found some infos:

      Ergänzungsstaffel Sturzkampfgeschwader 1:

      Gruppenkommandeure:

      Hptm Lothar Schimitschek, 22.12.40 - 1.42
      ?
      Hptm Karl Schrepfer, 5.43 - 16.5.43
      Formed 8.12.40 in Schaffen-Diest as Erg.Staffel/St.G.1.

In 1942 increased to Gruppe, now with:

      Stab/Erg.Gruppe St.G.1
      1./Erg.Gruppe St.G.1
      2./Erg.Gruppe St.G.1

      In 5.43 became I./St.G.151:

      Stab/Erg.Gruppe St.G.1 became Stab I./St.G.151
      1./Erg.Gruppe St.G.1 became 1./St.G.151
      2./Erg.Gruppe St.G.1 became 2./St.G.151

      Bases:

      8.12.40 - 6.41 Schaffen-Diest Ju 87B/R
      6.41 - 1.42 Neukuhren Ju 87R
      1.42 - 10.42 Schweinfurt Ju 87R/D
      10.42 - 16.5.43 Nantes Ju 87R/D

So the picture is either from Schweinfurt or Nantes.

And this pilot might then be Hauptmann Karl Schrepfer.

        Great photo, Jack!

A flying hauptmann with lightweight channel jacket, officer overseas, dreieckrechner in the pocket and map and flight helmet in hand! Really cool! Thanks for sharing!

        Cheers!

Thanks Frank, glad you like it.

I think it´s probably not Schrepfer on the photo, the shape of the ear looks different than in contemporary portraits.
