Hello all and thank you very much for all the input..!..much appreciated.

I do not know for sure for how long he had the tunic; I thik I saw this one maybe one year ago in his collection.

I can easily agree with the thoughts on this tunic beeing worn in captivity; it is generally dirty and would an officer allow his tunic to get this dirty while on duty in denmark..?..hardly..

Here are pictures from under the collar; I see only thread with the color of the LW nachricthen.

Yep, looks like they're on the tunic from lots of time, that's true. Looks like ...
I agree also for the eagle.

That's true. There's some photo about that. Not so common, but right.

Sure. I had not thought about the captivity. Could be a possibility... Quite strange, but could be. Still I didn't like the treaches of other threads under the collar (also red ones), the quite rude way to sewn the piping, the 'loops', the sleeves patches and the lack of french cuff. Sure, the captivity could be a reasonable reply, but they send me some concern and not the good vibration I would want...

Narkose could try to take off some of the threads under the collar. There's two tone of yellow and red ones. If the threads are cutted and they're only pieces, maybe the flak tabs there's no the only the jacket have got in his life...

    IMHO!

I agree completely, but the way to apply the EK1 I saw before, just stuck in the tunic.

        Hallo!

I have put a circle on every 'strange' thread I could see.. The boards are keep in place by a machine sewn that looks blue-gray on the pics. The other are threads that doesn't properly be there...

        Left pic, clock code:

h10: brown thread, bigger and in a different color than the one used to sewn the boards.

h01 traces of orange and red thread

h02 and 03 piece like the first one but in a slightly different colored threads

        Right pic:

All the thread over the 'squared' machine sewn looks yellow.

At h01 seems to me to see also a red thread point

Why that threads are there? I bet that if you tries to get away, most of that are only little pieces of thread that does not keep nothing ....

        IMHO, as the same!
