What you have is a "violated" and shortened Luftwaffe Fleigerblouse for enlisted man. The collar tabs are present but the shoulder boards and shoulder buttons are missing as is the Luft breast eagle. Has specialty patch for flying personnel which would go on the lower left sleeve.

Appears to be in good condition and could be "restored" if desired to do so.

A nice F'blouse all the same.

Indeed, as I am still learning I did not want to first comment on it but when I did see it I noticed it had been shortened as well as the same with the shoulderboards and the eagle. It is definatly a salty restorable tunic though! Are there remains of stitiching where the sleeve badge was?

I didn't see any problems on this mid/late war jacket... Lots of fliegerbluse was shortened by the owners during the WWII, was a quite common fashion practice.

        Cheers!

Frank is right in that it was a very common fashion to shorten the Fliegerbluse as well as many other tunic types.
this would be an excellent piece for a resto if had for the right price IMO!

Are you planning on restoring the insignia to it or are you going to be selling it as is? There have been a few stripped tunics on the estand around the $500.00 range. I would say with insignia restored around $600.00 to $700.00 but that is a ballpark estimate to me.

Has the sleeve lining been removed?
